Legal basis (UK and EU)

For demo requests and customer accounts we rely on our legitimate interest in running and selling a business service, and on performing our contract with the organiser. For security logs we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe. If we ever ask for consent (for example, for marketing cookies), you can withdraw it at any time.

Where your data is kept

Floory runs on a server in Mumbai, India, provided by Hostinger. If you are in the UK, the EU or another country with transfer rules, your data is transferred to India. For organisers we cover this with the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum, as set out in our data processing addendum. The services that help us run Floory are listed on our sub-processors page.

How long we keep it

Who we share it with

We don't sell personal data and we don't share it for advertising. We share it only with the sub-processors that run parts of the service, with professional advisers under confidentiality, or where the law requires it. Inside Floory, organisers control who sees what. For example, an agent sees who holds a booth but never the holder's client.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (UK and EU GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, Australia's Privacy Act 1988, the UAE's data protection law and similar laws) you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, or object to how we use it. Write to contact@floory.si. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority, for example the ICO in the UK.

Grievance officer (India)

Complaints under India's data protection law go to our grievance officer at contact@floory.si, with "Grievance" in the subject. We acknowledge within 48 hours.

Security

Every organiser's data is kept apart inside the database, connections are encrypted, and passwords are hashed. Our security page has the detail.

Children

Floory is for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

When this policy changes we update the date at the top. If a change affects how customer data is processed, we tell organisers by email before it takes effect.
